I have been caring for dogs since elementary school. My family owned two dogs and we loved them both very much. I really felt that there was a connection between us. The dogs usually choose one person they like the most and feel most loyal to and I know for a fact that I was that person. Even though my mother was giving them more walks than me because I was at school, their smiling and full of joy faces whenever I came back home told me all the story. We were very close and did all sorts of stuff together in addition to walking. They chased one another when I threw them a stick, and then the one who lost would try to chase the other and get it back and other fun activities. They both would eventually get treats for their effort!
