I have had pets at home my whole life. As a kid, I grew up with dogs, cats, and birds in the house, which sparked my love for all animals. I learned how to care for each animal individually and also understand their personal needs. I do very best taking care of every animal I watch because I know how special it is to have them in our lives. I have had my son, Robert the corgi, for nine years and recently fostered a St. Bernard puppy, giving me insight into how to care for all ages and sizes of dogs. I enjoy walking/ running outdoors with my pets, but if your pet prefers the couch or living room, I will still make sure they get exercise in whichever way they choose. I am able to continue your dogs training while you are away, and give any oral medication that is needed. You can be sure your dog will have a full day of fun with Robert and me. I am a part-time nursing assistant at UIHC, which gives me great flexibility for taking care of your pet. On days I don’t work at the hospital, I can be with your pet all day long and give them plenty of love and attention. My house is in a safe neighborhood and has a large fenced in backyard for your pups to zoom around. There are multiple people in the house so your pet will receive a lot of attention. There will also be Robert, the corgi, Hank, the St. Bernard puppy, and occasionally a chihuahua, so your pet will have lots of play time as well.
