Pet care experience
I grew up with four cats and have baby sat cats many times before! I recently lived with a 3 month old pit bull puppy and contributed a large percent in caring for her and helping train her. I occasionally walk a very strong friendly pit bull and I have taken care of the family dogs - 1 lab, 1 lab/mastiff mix, and 2 medium size mixed babies! I adore all types of animals and we get along very well! It would be an amazing honor to be able to help care for your furry loved ones! Cons: I may give them too much attention, it will be super hard to leave them, and my whole family may or may not be receiving pictures of your cuties.😁

RoRo, as we fondly call her, has been an exceptional and prompt dog walker and sitter for the past 2 years. Ro truly loves my Tia (72 lb Pitbull) and the feelings are mutual. Due to my dogs breed I was extremely hesitant to let anyone walk her, however Ro understood the need to ease into it and took many partnered walks to get the comfort and respect of my dog. Ro genuinely cares about the animals, and is very cautious when it comes to ensuring my dogs safety. We always chat about the weather (especially pavement heat) and if Tia has anything going on she should know about (upset stomach, lethargic, etc). Ro's first priority is always the dog, and it shows. On some of my busy days, I even ask Ro take my dog out to the yard for playtime if I am not able. She is flexible, caring, and fair. Five Stars
Roisin is kind and considerate and loves all animals. She has grown up with both cats and dogs in the family. She will be able to care well for any pet she is asked to care for. I highly recommend her for this position.

Unfortunately, the apartment that I live in does not allow pets so I cannot board. That being said, I am super open to drop in visits as well as overnights. I will respect any regulations/ rules you have about being/ staying in your home and follow any rules / schedules you have for your pets. I will walk/play/feed/ clean up after and cuddle your lovely ones. And I am excited to do so!

A typical day
I love to stay active with pets and have a lot of energy to share with them, unless they’re more mellow - then we can go at their own pace! Fun activities include running with your animals, long walks, playing fetch, lots and lots of petting, and playing with any toys. I know a lot of parks and open fields we could play on or places to go to enjoy a peaceful walk. In the Montclair area, I enjoy going to Brookdale Park, walking around town, and there is a spot in Upper Montclair with an open field and some benches that welcomes animals as well! Also, I would love to hear any fun activities you do specifically so I can also provide that for your pets!

I am finishing up my fall semester at MSU 12/19! Over the break I am working part time, my availability from 12/27 - 1/13 is as follows. Monday : anytime after 3pm Tuesday : all day Wednesday : anytime after 3pm Thursday : all day Friday: all day Saturday : anytime after 1pm Sunday : anytime after 3pm I will be updating my availability for spring semester after the 15th!
