Pet care experience
Amy and I work both from home so we have plenty of time to take very good care of dogs, with special attention of affection, letting pups sleep in our bed, and going for walks on the bay beach 5 minutes away. We fostered many dogs over 3 years so we have special experience with any kind of dog, plus we've continued taking care of dogs in our home for another 6 years beyond fostering. Our dog Molly (a golden doodle, now age 11) is like a doggy-guru with any dog! :) We are very conveniently located for pick-ups and drop-offs 1 minute from County Road 39 very near the Lobster Grill. Amy an artist and animal lover can do an artistic portrait of your dog while we take care of her/him, please inquire with us and check her painting of the three zebras in our listing pictures. Note: at this time, I only offer sitting for dogs and other pets; though we don’t currently accept cats. Thank you!

I have only wonderful things to say about Roger, Amy and their sweet dog Molly. They were the most perfect hosts imaginable for my dog. Communication was great from start to finish, and Roger and Amy sent me daily pictures and videos along with written updates so I could see for myself how happy and well-adjusted my beloved dog was in my absence. Roger and Amy are true dog lovers and extremely caring and conscientious people. At least one of them is always at home with the dogs, and I really appreciated the attention and genuine affection that they showed my dog. They welcomed him into their family and integrated him into their lives while he was under their roof, which meant so much to me. I would recommend Roger and Amy without hesitation, especially for pet owners who are as nervous as I was, leaving my dog with another family for the first time.
Our dog had urgent surgery five days before we had to leave for a long-arranged vacation. We were apprehensive about leaving him in another's home but Roger's reviews and the fact that our pet would have a lot of supervision relieved a lot of the pressure. At the drop off, our guy went running off to play and that reassured us even more. We were sent photos of him looking relaxed and adjusted. Roger sent us updates regarding how he was doing. When we arrived back a week later, his dressing was in great shape and while he was thrilled to see us, he looked well taken care of. Mille mercis! This was a gift of peace of mind that enabled us to enjoy our trip. Bev
