Pet care experience
I had dogs growing up and when our youngest wanted a baby sister, we got her a dog instead. She was 5 and she had him until she was twenty! Then she got her second dog and I enjoyed taking care of him, too. Both dogs were great. They were like friends and as much my dog as they were hers. I miss walking with them. It seems almost selfish and a little odd walking by myself. I took up golf and bike riding to fill the need for outdoor exercise. But I still miss taking care of furry friends. I decided to be get back into the habit of walking/caring for a dog again and joined Rover. It brings back good memories and keeps me… and my new furry friends healthy!

I like to vary the routes in my pet owner’s neighborhood while walking. On a drop-in, I will play and talk with them, give them attention, pet them a lot, provide water and feed them as needed.
