Sorry this has taken so long… not intended but we thought that it was gone before we had a chance to post this…this was our first experience using Rover as a client and it was a blessing. Rodrigo made our late furbaby Ichi so comfortable and shared him with his brother and took many pics that we value more than words can express as he had to leave us April 14th, 2022. I used Rover bc I was in Michigan from Maryland and was throwing a much larger than ever 50th bday bash for my husband Robert and had friends and our adult children flying and driving in from all over the US. To not spoil the surprise I had to find a safe and close sitting situation for our much elder chihuahua Ichi who had diabetes which he required injections twice a day, heart murmur that sometimes in the am hours causing a 1-3 minute seizure. He was very willing to learn how to handle these important issues. He called us without hesitation whenever he had any questions/concerns and we had a great time with all our family together as we all live in different states. My husband was so surprised as I also contacted several of his former USAF troops that he supervised and mentored over 14 yrs ago overseas and now are also retired. This all wouldn’t have been easy on our furbaby so to say Rodrigo is more than an asset he’s an “Angel!!!” To top this off as we began grieving our recent loss of Ichi (which sadly also marks end to 21 yrs straight from 2001-2022 with furbabies as he was our third out of three to pass away in these 5 yrs) we remembered Rodrigo and our amazing experience with Rover that it came to us to become Rover sitters ourselves as a family and thought that although we are not ready to add permanently another furbaby into our family we do want to help others “pay it forward” and give our love and attention at a low cost as we get back priceless joy back during such a hard time.
