Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Rosie and I love animals! I know what you are thinking... 33 yrs experience?! I grew up around dogs. Have rescued and fostered a few. I spent every weekend in my uncle's farm, so I learned about farm animals too. I have always had 3+ dogs in my home. I currently have two pups: a 5yr old Schneagle, who is very independent but loves to play, walk, and hike, and make friends! I'm constantly outside with her. I also have a 4yr old Havanese, whom I rescued. She is so loving and cuddly. I have cared for chihuahuas, yorkies, maltese, great danes!, and all kinds of mutts. And a really silly green conure. I am great with animals, and they are great with me! I love meeting all kinds of pet personalities! I think it's great! I will care for any dog, cat, or bird, as if they were my own! ** No breed restrictions **

Rocio is great with dogs! I have asked her on several occasions to help me take care of my 5 dogs. FIVE. 3 small, two large. At first it was just two days, then a week, now sometimes two weeks in total, while I fly out of town for work. She drops by first thing in the morning (per my request) to let the inside dogs out, then comes back halfway through the day, then again before bedtime to feed them, let them out, and put the two inside dogs, in their crates. They are so excited when they see her. My great dane jumps up to "hug" her. She's great! She follows directions, is responsible, and just absolutely great with my 5. She has also taken care of my neighbor's 3 small dogs, as I referred her to them.

I will care for the pet(s) however you need me to! But definitely with all the love and affection! Please let me know if you have an escape artist, so I may be even more vigilant! But I will make sure doors and gates are closed, they are not over fed, they get enough treats, and enough exercise!

No breed restrictions at all, but NO aggressive dogs please! Allergies? Medications? Health issues? Separation anxiety? Do you have other pets and what are they?
A typical day
Depending where my pet may live, we can walk a mile or two around their home; if not, we can travel to a safe park and walk there. We can play fetch in the owner's yard, or rough-house inside. Whatever the owner suggests! Every pet is different :)

I am currently free to help at any time I am needed! I can start as early as 6am and end at 11pm (for pet visits, potty walks).
