***COVID-19 UPDATE*** WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING BOARDING CLIENTS HOWEVER IF YOU BOOK WE ARE REQUIRING OUTSIDE DROP OFF AND PICKUP ONLY. THE ONLY ITEMS WE WILL ACCEPT ARE COLLAR, HARNESS, LEASH AND FOOD INSIDE TUPPERWARE CONTAINERS SO WE CAN DISINFECT THEM. WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY BEDDING, BOWLS, TOYS, CHEWS, ETC AND WILL PROVIDE THEM INSIDE OUR HOME. AT PICKUP WE WILL BRING YOUR PET OUTSIDE TO YOU. WE HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND OUR UPDATED POLICY DURING THIS TIME, IT IS INTENDED TO KEEP US HEALTHY AND SAFE TO CONTINUE TO SERVE YOU. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CONDUCT MEET AND GREETS IN AN OUTDOOR SETTING AND HOLD VIRTUAL INDOOR WALKTHROUGHS. READ EVERYTHING BOARDING NOTES ARE INCLUDED..... Anything that comes with your pet will be labeled with a small sticker with their name. They are easy to remove but can get more stuck to porcelain bowls and paper. Your dog will be fitted with a harness on arrival if one is not provided for the duration of their stay. All dogs are walked double leashed through harness and collar. If you provide a crate, blanket, bedding, towels, etc we will wash everything before it is returned to you to ensure no contamination carries to your home. We try as much as possible to keep these items separate between families however sometimes dogs/cats form a bond with each other and like to snuggle while they are here. Your pets will be placed in separate rooms during all feedings to not encourage fights. Only pets from the same family will remain together unless restricted by owner. We do not allow chew bones, rawhide or other long lasting chew items for daily use to reduce the risk of property possession aggression. You must bring your pets own food. You are more than welcome to bring bowls but we keep a supply of them and disinfect them through the dishwasher with kennel disinfectant tabs after each feeding. We own an animal rescue transport organization where we help save dogs and cats from shelters and get them safely to rescues all over the country so they can be adopted into loving homes. We have a high level of experience with dog and cat safety inside and outside a home. Being around dogs and cats makes us smile. We have cared for dogs and cats since we were very young. If we can help make your dog happier for you when you're not home that makes us happy. We do not tolerate animal abuse and would care for your dog just as much as we care for our own dogs. We are experienced with puppies and adults as well as basic training of dogs. We transport and walk dogs according to our own requirements of our organization for maximum safety and comfort. **WE WILL BOARD DURING HURRICANES BUT BE AWARE WE WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF 30$ PER DOG PER DAY. IF WE INTEND TO EVACUATE WE WILL LET YOU KNOW 2-4 HRS IN ADVANCE AND YOU WILL NEED TO COME GET YOUR DOG. IF YOU DO NOT COME GET YOUR DOG WE WILL TAKE YOUR DOG WITH US AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL APPLY BASED ON ROOM CHARGES FOR PET FEES.
