I have been around pets and animals for my entire life. My family had cats growing up, and I got my first horse at age 9. I was a member of a horse 4-H program for the next 10 years, learning how to responsibly care for and effectively train my horse. When I moved for college, I left the horse world, but eventually became a dog owner. I had Pork Chop for almost 10 years, a sweetheart rescue pitbull, and now I have Larry. I cared for Pork Chop through a year of lymphoma treatment so I have experience with situations where medications need to be given.
