ABOUT US: "Rover Robyn" is not my actual name, but Robyn is. I would like to forewarn you, your pet will be cared for by BOTH me and my 10-y/o son as it help fulfills our mutual love for animals big and small. So if that set-up is not your jam, no hard feelings. OUR FURRY (AND SCALEY) BACKGROUND: I have been around animals pretty much my entire life, having at one point lived with a Black Lab, 3 Chinese Pugs, 4 Chihuahuas, 2 Silky Terriers, 3 Italian Mastiffs, a miniature Australian Shepard, 2 kitties, a tortoise, a hamster, a green iguana, and a plethora of fish, shrimp, and frogs. My childhood was a miniature petting zoo! My son has also been around animals since he was born (i.e., 1 of the 3 Chinese Pugs, 2 of the 4 Chihuahuas, 1 of the Silky Terriers, the 3 Italian Mastiffs, the miniature Australian Shepard, 1 of the 2 kitties, the tortoise, and the plethora of fish, shrimp, and frogs) and holds a deep love for all creatures big and small. In Christmas of 2021, we adopted a 13 lb., 4 y/o Silky Terrier named Frankie Blue. Frankie is a sweetheart and makes instant fur friends with the pups that come and stay with us. OUR PROMISE TO YOU: We solemnly vow to love on, care for, and have fun with your furry loved one while you are away for work or play. We understand how much of a responsibility it is to be entrusted with the care of a family member and are honored that you have taken the time to read our profile and are considering us as a caregiving candidate. THE NOT-SO-SMALL PRINT: -While I WFH the majority of the time, I do have to pop into work on occasion. When that occurs, I have my sister (aka the dog whisperer) either stay or check in on the pups throughout the day. -If we watch your furkids over the weekend or during a holiday, we like to visit my parents in Browns Point (N.E. Tacoma). They have a big, fenced yard with dog-friendly plants, 2 furkids (a Chihuahua and Mini-Aussie), and live near a huge playfield and walking trails. -I prefer doing meet & greets in a public place or OUTSIDE our condo building. -We usually bathe the doggies we watch so if your fur kid has any product allergies or if you prefer for us not to, please let me know. -We can only watch pets under 30lbs due to our condo building’s animal weight restrictions.
