I have my own amazing doggo named Wrigley and we do pretty much everything together! I have my own business and he's the official shop dog that greets all of our customers. In fact, some people stop by JUST to say hi to him. Very rarely are we separated...and I likely miss him more when I'm away than he misses me. When he was a puppy, I took him for basic puppy training and since then, he's grown into a pretty well behaved dog through positive reinforcement. I take him to the off-leash park for a play with dogs and I also make friends with the other furry friends there. He listens well in an unfenced area, but he's cool to hangout in a fenced park too if that's what your dog requires. I've learned to work with his pulling on leash and read all his body language and cues. When he interacts with other dogs, I've also learned to read their body language as well. Wrigley sleeps on the bed with me, but he also likes to go to the couch to have his own space. I think pets are part of the family and should be treated as such. I share a home with my parents and they treat Wrigley like a grandkid! They'd be happy to have more waggy tails in the home. My nephews (aged 10-17) come over frequently and love playing with dogs as well.
