I love your pet already.

Pet care experience

If you’re new to Rover, remember to apply my promo code to your first booking with me for $20 off! ROBINW45690 --- I cannot wait to hang out with your pet - we're going to have so! much! fun! I was born into a home with a menagerie of pets, and I've been (joyfully) surrounded by animals ever since. Never have I ever met an animal I haven't loved, truly! Even if you bite me, I love you. Please don't bite me again, but I do love you. Biting aside...my point is that each animal is unique, special, and deserves endless love and respect. I love cats just as much as I love dogs, by the way. Equal Opportunity Petter. --- **For boarding - When staying with me your pup gets (what I like to consider to be) a boutique doggy hotel and spa experience, like my own dogs’ experience daily. Your pup joins our cozy crew for the entirety of their stay and will be integrated into our routine - lots of walks, treats, toys/fetch/tug-o-war, sleeping on the bed (unless you'd rather they not), full couch and lap access, endless pets and cuddles, the works. Because I have 2 dogs of my own, a meet and greet before accepting new client boarding requests, in-person (this is key), with you and your dog at least a full 24 hours in advance of your dog's stay with me is necessary. We'll both want to be sure our dogs get along and are generally a good fit to stay in close quarters with each other. --- **For walks & check-ins - There is some wiggle room in my per visit/per walk rate depending on how far you are from me and how long it will take me to get to you (i.e. slightly less if we're literal neighbors and slightly more if it'll take me more than 10 min with traffic to drive to you). We'll discuss! After walks I always give a little quality pet time/play time to wrap things up as I know pets get lonely when their people aren't around. I want to leave them in great spirits whenever possible. I'll also refill their food and water bowls, administer any meds, per the owners instructions as needed. No additional $$ necessary for these extra tasks, all a standard part of keeping these angels comfy/happy. For those clients that live in an area of Austin where designated guest and/or free street parking is not available or scarce, we may need to add in the cost of what paid parking is available near you to the booking rate per visit. --- **For doggy daycare - I work from home most days of the week. Because I am watching pups in my apartment home without a yard, we take many walks throughout the day, and usually a long one once a day through the Barton Creek Greenbelt/Zilker Park. Lots of one-on-one attention for your pup guaranteed (versus a doggy daycare facility servicing many dogs all at once). The quieter environment is great for shy or less socialized pups, too. I have 2 small, super chill dogs for your dog to socialize with if/when they want, and a meet and greet with your pup and mine will be necessary to make sure they're a good fit. Lots of toys to play with, treats to eat, and private areas for your pup to nap/have time to themselves when/if they need it.

Absolutely AMAZING!! She was so loving to Charlie, took the best care of her. Took her on walks and met LOTS of friends and even had play dates with some! Charlie got a bath with lots of treats and snuggles, Robin sent lots of photos with updates during the stay, even during pickup we discussed how Charlie was. I really appreciate Robin and would love to have her watch Charlie again🥰 if I could do a 10 star review I want to say THANKYOU SO MUCH for being AMAZING!!

Robin is a great sitter. I hope to use her again in the future. She made my dog completely comfortable and gave lots of attention. Robin was a great communicator too.

Before working together, for peace of mind, I recommend that you, me, and your pet(s) have a short meet and greet so I can meet your pet and they can get to know me/will recognize me when I help care for them. During that visit you and I will discuss your pet's specific needs and routine, their likes/dislikes, personality, general health status, and any of their "quirks" (personal boundaries, leash aggression, what-have-you), and how many pics and updates you want to see from me per day! For walks or check-in meet and greets we'll also chat about where your pets' toys/food/leash are kept in your home and how you'd like to handle my entry into your home. This way I'll be best prepared to give them the individualized care they want and need! I'm very comfortable giving topical and oral medications. And lastly, if you book walks/doggy daycare/boarding with me, it is assumed that your pet is current with vaccinations for all common transmittable diseases and up to date on their flea prevention meds. :)

Information Robin W. would like to know about your pet

Important to know ahead of time I'd love to know about your pet's schedule, temperament, any ongoing health problems, quirky behavior, hard boundaries, and whatever else you think is key to us having a grand ol' time together. -- If your pup or kitty is shy, anxious, and/or wary of strangers at first, please tell me upfront. It is very common and most likely not an issue! Simply best for me to be prepared. For you to know - this is what my default 1st meeting with new animals looks like: - introducing myself slowly with treats, minimal physical contact or eye contact to start, - staying present, - "feeling" their energy, - watching their body language, and - respecting whatever boundaries they set with me - they're valid Apart from what's above, if you have a fearful animal I would appreciate any recommendations *specific to your pet* that I can utilize during our first encounter to help them feel comfortable and make it a positive experience for everyone. Please and thank you! :)

A typical day

Describe a typical day What fun activities will you do with the dogs you watch? Do you have special places you like to go on walks? We play, we cuddle, we chill, for dogs - we walk (fast or slow - it's their time, so it's their choice). If your pet likes, we gaze into each other's eyes until one of us becomes uncomfortable. For long dog walks - I live next to Zilker Park and the Barton Creek Greenbelt. If your pups enjoy a good nature walk, I'm your gal.
