Warm, loving, miss my pets
Pet care experience
I'm a dog lover from way back. I had dogs growing up and then raising kids. The dog's names were Duke, Dude, Hokie, Pokie, Vinny and finally Lucy who I lost 5 years ago. My children are now grown up and live away and I miss a dog's company. I also travel from time to time, so it wouldn't be fair to have a dog and not be home 365/7 to care for them. I'm self employed, responsible and live in a nice home -- just me. I am a writer and PR coach who works from home so I'm available to attend to my guests and talk with him/her and let him/her know they are cared for. I think it will be great for both of us. Companionship is a beautiful thing!

I left bj with robin he was very well taken care of was treated like a king. Would definitely recommend robin to other people as well as use her again
Murphy had an excellent stay with Robin. I hope she is available the next time we need a sitter. We will definitely go to her again. Thanks for taking care of our boy!
If you can tell a person by the company she keeps, then Robin is a dog person. Whether the dog is hers or someone else's, if there is a fur friend nearby Robin keys right into the animal. After Robin lost her constant companion after so many years of togetherness, I saw a light go out in her. Yet Robin decided not to adopt another; she was giving up a love of her own, because her schedule wouldn't make it ideal for the dog. It was all about putting the dog's best interest above her own. And we now have the advantage of her kind heart and ability to understand animal needs to make our own pets look at our travels less as abandonment and more like a vacation with a new best friend. Everybody's happy.
Robin "gets" animals and more importantly they intuitively understand her. I would venture to call her the "Mary Poppins" of dog sitters and will vouch that it is a lucky dog who has Robin as a caregiver! A lifelong dog and cat companion she is currently bereft of and bereaved at the passing of her shelter dog, Lucy. Robin was a strong supporter and event planner for the Milton Animal League prior to her relocation to her present Merrimac Valley home.

I'd love to meet the dog. I would just hope they don't bite or miss their MAMA too much and cry all night. That makes me sad.
A typical day
If it's ok with the owners, I can also take dogs to my island house on Lake Winnipesauke. It's beautiful there with all kinds of area to roam -- but also room where they can take nice long walks on wooded trails.
