I have a soft spot for all animals
Pet care experience
I have worked with or around animals my entire life and couldn't be happier about it! I started helping at adoption events as a teenager and it has grown from there. I love all animals, great and small and take pride in my knowledge and understanding of them. I personally have a dog, two cats, a guinea pig, turtle, and cockatiel and enjoy caring for all of them- though the turtle can be a little boring when she's hibernating ;). I worked at a vet's office for over five years and am very confident giving any kind of medication or medical attention to pets. I also used to pet sit for a very old, blind, diabetic husky and was able to give him his insulin injections without a problem as well as giving very bitter pills to my less than enthusiastic cat when she was very ill. I pride myself in communicating with my clients and doing anything I can to ease the time away from their furry friends, I know how stressful it can be to be away from them! Please contact me with any questions and I look forward to working with you.

Skills
Information Robin S. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for a dog, I like to know as many likes and dislikes as I can. I know the dog can be stressed being away from his mom or dad and I will try to do anything I can to ease that stress. Knowing their favorite treat or toy is always helpful. It is also important for me to know how the dog is around other animals or people, so I can handle those situations properly.
A typical day
I love going on walks in the woods or around parks. I'm a huge fan of nature, but it all depends on the dog and how much they can tolerate. I am equally a big fan of staying in a cuddling on the couch.
