Pet care experience
I've spent my entire life around animals. Growing up, my family had dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds. They were always treated like family members and it sparked my love for all animals. By the time I was 12, I started pet sitting for family friends and neighbors and not long after that I began to work with animal shelters. Over the years, I have worked with the Houston Humane Society, Twyla's Friends, BARC Animal Shelter, and the Lubbock Humane Society as a dog walker, adoption facilitator, foster parent, and event volunteer. I am accustomed to working with animals from all different backgrounds and understand that every animal has different needs. I am responsible and flexible. Robin is an amazing soul and dog sitter!! I had surgery scheduled and might need to be admitted but wouldn’t know until the surgery happened. She was more than willing to work with my situation and truly went above and beyond!!! One of my dogs is a super mommas boy, doesn’t like when I leave him, and both are bulldogs who can be extra sometimes lol. Robin didn’t hesitate about taking care of their needs in whatever way was most comfortable for them. She took a huge weight off of my shoulders (my family is across the country) and I will definitely be using her in the future!!
Robin was great with our pups! We left our crazy puppy and 4 year old coonhound with them when we traveled out of the country and we enjoyed our trip so much more knowing they were so well taken care of and having fun with her pets! Will definitely look for her the next time we need a sitter
Robin was great with my two dogs!
This was my first time using Rover and boarding services in general, and Robin was the perfect sitter. She helped me work through my separation anxiety from my dogs with daily updates on how they were adjusting. She provided a loving home for my 2 pups while I was away. So loving, in fact, that I think one of my mine was reluctant to leave. In preparation for boarding, she set up meet and greet sessions, so my dogs could get adjusted/used to her resident pets. Overall, Robin was amazing. You couldn’t find a better, more caring pet sitter and animal lover.

In your home, I pay careful attention to your pet's needs. I make sure they are only outside when it's safe and supervised. I ensure that the inside of your home is clean and am careful not to leave anything lying around that they can get into. In my home, they are carefully supervised when around my dogs and/or cat. Both my front and backyard are fenced so that our dogs can have separate yard time if needed. Yard time is also supervised.

I love dogs of all breeds and sizes. The only thing that I need to know before sitting or walking your dog is simply your preferences for their care. I like knowing some about their personality, their favorite activities, anything they might be afraid of, if they've ever been through any trauma, and what their normal daily schedule looks like.
A typical day
I love being outside so being able to take your dog to the park where we can go on walks, play frisbee, or with a ball is a privilege. I also enjoy helping dogs learn new tricks or correcting undesirable behavior and would be more than willing to help with training. I have a lot of love and compassion to give. So for dogs that want it, I love to give lots of pets, brush fur, and even do baths or go for a swim!
