I grew up with a corgi and yellow lab and have taken care of friends’ and neighbors’ dogs over the years. In college I adopted a very sweet cat that unfortunately developed cancer in 2020. Recently, I cared for 2 cats for 16 months while their mom was pursuing a career on the west coast. I work full-time at the Birmingham Zoo and have over 5 years professional experience caring for a variety of animals. I can’t wait to care for yours! I work full-time during the week but am available for pet care in the afternoons/evenings, overnight, and weekends. I can also do midday potty breaks if it is a reasonable distance from the Birmingham Zoo. I can stay overnight at your home to play, feed, walk, and otherwise care for your pets. Your pets could also stay with me in my apartment. I do not have any pets of my own currently so your pets will get all of the attention! My apartment has a private entrance that opens onto a spacious porch and yard. Unfortunately the yard is not fenced in, but we can still play and walk on leash. Depending on temperament, we can also go to the dog park to run around!
