I have been a giver of care most of my life. I was a stay at home mom that also worked out of my home. Caring for two children, two dogs and a cat. My dogs lived a long happy life both passing at home with their families nearby. I have since become a cat owner. He is getting up there in years and I have been considering a dog for my new companion. As I am not able to do that at this time, I thought this may be a good way to work my way into getting a dog of my own again. I was also a care giver for my father who passed in 2009, and worked as a nanny for a family and their dog Baxter, walking, playing, taking to groomer, I even took him for a visit to see my dad. I also had pets as a child, and a sister who adopted every stray that came her way. I have been around horses as well. Most pets and children like me, and find me approachable.
