My pets are my children, and I treat the dogs and cats I care for like one my our own! I am a highly experienced "parent" with a true lifetime of caring for my own dogs, foster dogs, foster cats, and Rover clients. My goal is simple: to give you the peace of mind your dog or kitty is happy, peaceful, cared for and loved while you are away! I am happy to provide walks, check ins, and of course, tons of love! I am certified by Pets America in canine first aid and can administer subcutaneous fluids and oral medication. I am also certified in Canine Massage and am happy to work on your pup if you are interested. I am happy to sit all breeds and temperaments of dog, and I can check in on kitties and other pets as well. As long as its not venomous and you can provide details, I'm happy to provide care :) I have been involved in rescue for over 20 years, having volunteered, fostered, and sat on various boards and committees for Austin Pets Alive, the Central Texas SPCA, and Lil Paws Maltese Rescue, as well as the Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh before moving to Austin. I was part of the dog behavior team at Austin Pets Alive and am very adept at reading dog body language. I was also raised in large part by a 140-pound Newfoundland, so dog behavior is kind of in my blood. :) I'd love to have the chance to do a meet and greet with your pup.
