Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover since I was young. I have had dogs and cats, of my own, most of my life. I had a job, as a dog groomer, in my teenage years at Pet Cetera in Liberty, Missouri. I also volunteered as a dog walker for the Liberty Animal Shelter when I was a teen. I recently started doing some pet sitting for family and friends and it's been going great. That has led me to extend my services to others in my community. I will care for your pet as though they were my own. My home is less than a mile from 'Waggin Trails' dog park in North Kansas City, which offers, separate, fenced, areas, for little and big dogs.
Reviews
Robin and her family are hands down my dog's favorite sitters. They have a great set up at their house and she is great at communicating, sending photos and was flexible when my flight back home was delayed. Rocko is always happy when we pull up to her house and is very affectionate with her. My dog is high energy and has separation anxiety so I genuinely appreciate that he is content when he is with her.
Robin has watched our cattle dog, Ellie Mae, a few times now and she is communicative, professional, and really good with dogs. She was patient with Ellie, who is slow to warm up to new humans. We appreciate knowing now that Ellie feels at home with Robin when we are away!
Robin was very caring and sweet to our dog. She sent pictures while we were out of town which gave us peace of mind. Our dog looked pretty comfortable in the pics. We appreciate her taking such good care of our sweet dog.
Robin is great. Will seek her out every time I’m in need.

If the pets are boarded at my home, I will be expecting you to bring their crate, if needed and all food and supplies for the duration of their stay. If I'll be, dropping in, to feed them, and or walk them, we will be on hiking trails or go to the dog park, if they like social interaction with other dogs. I would determine how to best care for them based on their location and walking options near them, as well as, information given by their owners. If they have special needs, we can discuss and determine, our routines specially for them. Also I can provide rides to grooming appointments, vet appointments, ect.

Let me know if your pet has special needs, I don't have specialized training, but I'm sure I can follow directions. I'm also interested to know how I can make them feel the most comfortable in your absence. I definitely understand that each pet has it's own unique personality and I'm happy to accommodate them. A note about last minute scheduling: I will be absolutely fine with last minute scheduling for boarding your pet, if we have met and they have been to my home for a successful stay previously. It is very important to me, to take the time to meet, you and your pet, ahead of their FIRST scheduled stay, to ensure that, both your pet, and you, are comfortable with me and my space. Also reversely, that I feel confident with your pet, also.
A typical day
I love spending time with animals, getting to know them and what they like. I'm happy to take them to the dog parks or trails and throw the ball if they like to fetch.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule and I can work in, loving your fur baby, around my other responsibilities. I'm currently working from home, so I'm here all the time, besides running errands. I do have a cat in my home, she's a tuxedo baby named Beatrice "BeeBee." She, so far, has gotten along with most of the dogs that she's met, though she does have a refuge in our basement if she's not in the mood.
