Pet care experience
Dogs have been part of my family since before I could walk! My wife and I rescued Slater the Lab/Border wonder pup and I am still in the new dad phase for sure. With that said I have previously worked in a kennel and have experience with a wide range of dog breeds, demeanors, and sizes. I'm an avid hiker and my pup loves to swim so walks and river time are never in short supply. My wife and I team up to make sure your dog is always having a great time! I'm currently pursuing my Master's Degree in PA Studies at Bryant University and my wife is a practicing PA. We recently moved from Northampton to Chesterfield and there are a ton of trails, rivers, and forests to explore! Also, although we can definitely watch two pups at the same time we prefer if they are from the same household. So sometimes it may appear we have an open spot to book but we may actually have a pup staying with us! We apologize in advance and will always let you know if we can/can't host as soon as possible.

Rob did an outstanding job of watching our Josie. He sent us pictures of her every day and in all of them both he and she looked very happy to be together. Rob gave Josie walks every day and let Josie sniff all the critter holes she wanted. I would definitely have Rob watch Josie again.
As always, Rob and Lauren obviously treated my girl like their own... and my girl LOVES it! They're very attentive to her health issues and she gets all excited when I tell her that she's going to see them. That's the true sign of great dog people!
Roberto and Lauren were a great fit for our dog Luna, who stayed with them in their lovely home. Though our Luna can be a handful sometimes, they were able to meet her at her level, she got to hang out with their sweet dog, and go for wooded walks, which are her favorite kinds of walks. Luna came home looking and feeling good, she is very elderly so I was a bit worried how being away would impact her, but she really seemed her usual old self. We got updates and photos throughout our stay, which was really great! We would certainly make R and L our first choice to watch Luna again!
Rob and Lauren and their dog Slater are GREAT! My 9-yr old lab loves going to their house, and she especially enjoys playing and romping around with Slater. She's had a few sleepovers now and must be having a wonderful time as she's always excited to see Rob and Lauren. I trust them completely with my girl, and they obviously enjoy being with her. They're wonderful!

A typical day
As I mentioned above, the days are filled with long walks, rivers, trails, and plenty of belly rubs! We no longer have a fenced in yard so we make up for it with plenty of solid walks!
