I grew up with a small dog and we currently have a cat and a just got a puppy this year. We love getting to watch other furry friends as the kids and puppy get a friend to play with. As long as they get along, your dog will help my puppy socialize and learn how to interact with other dogs! The cat will likely hide most of the time, so there won’t be much interaction with her, but I would just prefer that your dog is not aggressive towards her (a bit of barking and growling is expected and understandable!) We have a large backyard where the dogs can run, fetch and explore. My kids are young but love to play with dogs. As long as your dog is gentle and used to young kids that might be a little rough then we should be a great fit.
