Roberta and her family were great hosts to my dog while I was on vacation for four days. I don't think he wanted to leave! Communication with her to set up my dog's stay was fast, so it was easy to schedule a meet and greet before I left for vacation and I was able to pick him up exactly when I wanted to when I was back in town. I will definitely have Roberta watch my dog again the next time I need a dog sitter if she's available!

This stay was a bait-and-switch. Roberta, whom I chose because my dogs are much better with women than men, was never there to take care of them. Her husband, who clearly was not comfortable with dogs, was. I booked them for a 3-day stay and at the end of the second day here husband texted me that he would not be able to take care of them on the final day, thus I was left to scramble for a sitter at 7 p.m., the first week of a new, stressful job, for another sitter. (This is a whole other nightmare: Under duress, Rover.com helped me to find someone, whose rate was 3x more than I would have liked to have paid, who took my dogs--without my permission--to NEW JERSEY from NYC, on the subway and NJ Transit, to her theater rehearsal. When she returned them to me, they were so thirsty that they were trying to drink stagnant water on the street.) It was a miserable, stressful experience. I do not recommend.
