I've had dogs all my life, sometimes two at a time. Currently I have a rescue from Arkansas who is my best buddy. She loves her walks, rides in the car with the top down and keeping me company when I'm in the garden. My friends bring their dogs to my home for play dates or we head over to the local dog park. I'm an animal advocate and recently fostered a dog from Georgia. This is also something I would like to pursue now that I'm retired. I'm glad to say that she was adopted recently by a woman who lives close by me. I've done overnites for my friends and family while they were on vacation. The dogs love my back yard because they can run around and play off leash.
