In my home now, I have a wonderful mixed breed terrier. He was a rescue dog, and I loved him from the moment I saw him online. I'm unsure who was more fortunate, the dog, or me. I have a pair of zebra finches, who live in an antique french cage. They are the happiest little animals, and are very insistent that they receive adequate attention. I also keep chickens, the oldest of which is over 10 years old, and keep bees. I have American Red Cross Pet First Aid, and CPR training, and certification. Also, I have been a health care professional for decades. I feel certain I can take care of any needs which may arise with your pets. While you are away from your pets, you will receive a status report each time I see them. This will include a brief description of the visit, and a photo of your pet. I am a health care professional who works part time. Time off provides the opportunity for me to pursue my long dreamed of, retirement job. Rover is allowing me to get a head start. I have a fenced yard. The chickens come out of their run, and the Dog goes into the back yard. They coexist peacefully. Most days we take the dog on a walk at the park, or at the least around the neighborhood. Muttley had a herniated disc a few years ago. His 100% recovery was greatly aided by increasing length of walks to build his mobility, and endurance. He also received therapeutic massage daily, as he grew stronger. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I am always available in the mornings, and afternoons. Most times, I can be available on short notice. I am also happy to take care of your botanical family members, collect mail, or packages, and generally keep an eye on things while you are away. I know I miss my animals when I am away. I worry about them. That is why I want to provide your pets with ample lap time, play time, outdoor time, exercise, and love.
