I’m a recently retired Human Resource professional and aspiring fiction writer. I’ve been dog sitter for family and friends for more than 2 decades. As a responsible pet owner, I understand your need for a reliable dog sitter. I understand how to comfort your pet in your absence. It is my goal to earn your repeat business by adhering to feeding schedules, administering medications, walking and ensuring that you are confident that your pet has an attentive sitter while you're away. I have fenced yard and a playful 4 pound Pomeranian. She is kennel trained and mannerly. Clean and quiet Non smoking/Drug free home with small but secure patio/yard area. Loving, attentive care. For housesitting clients, I am a courteous guest. I use as little of your space as necessary, possibly only a microwave, etc. I bring my own blanket/pillow, etc. I'm comfortable with nanny-cams and surveillance cameras being on 24/7. My community does not allow me to care for excessive barkers, adult pit bulls, Doberman and other large breeds that can be aggressive.

Most important to know ahead of time is feeding schedule and anything your pet is apprehensive about. I like to know if your dog prefers to play with my small dog or if your baby is not comfortable with other dogs.
A typical day
My neighborhood is very walkable. I have a variety of dog puzzles. Lots of toys playtime round out our days. We provide treats and try to review basic commands as stimulation.

Availability
I’m home full time both weekdays and weekends. Crates are utilized any time I’m away for a brief outing or your baby just needs to decompress and reenergize. Happy dog walks when appropriate.
