Pet care experience
“Since I was a young child born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I’ve had so many dogs, cats, aquarium fish, turtles, snakes, frogs, lizards I’ve loved and cared for. When I was just age 5 my dream was to open a zoo. Instead, I brought the zoo to me, thanks to great supportive Mom and Dad whim instilled a love of nature and animals from the very beginning. Luckily 🍀 I chose my calling, Teaching Science 🧬 for 25 years. Since I am age 55 and officially just retired, I truly am very available and trustworthy, as caring for animals is second nature to me, regardless of what species your animals belong to…. See what I did there? Thanks 🙏 much, Robert
About Robert P.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a great little house with a fenced in yard that I love to be outside enjoying. My Dog, Tucker and I walk the neighborhood every day, so if your pooch needs to play, I come with a built in canine playmate with amazing attitude.
Information Robert P. would like to know about your pet
I will speak with you in advance about your dog’s special needs and wishes for his or her care that is the most important to you. We must both be very comfortable with one another for this to be the best care for your furry family member! I am not into guesswork; being a retired, seasoned Science Teacher for 25 years.
A typical day
My dog, Tucker has a favorite, fun ball that I roll and bounce and fill with a couple of dog biscuits. Since exercise is paramount, we play a game where I hide the treat- filled ball behind my back and roundabout to my front. We’ll practice jumping and playing and if you’d like; we can play in my, great, safe, fun, fenced in yard in Middlebury. Our visit can simply be in your house or your backyard, as well. We’ll communicate about what makes you most comfortable and serves your particular dog’s needs the best for you…Our favorite dog walks are on the Middlebury trail, literally walking distance from our home at 61 Yale Avenue!
