I grew up with dogs and have had a wonderful Maltese for 15 years. I am a retired attorney with interests in current affairs, fitness and music. I am an avid cyclist and cross country skier. I have been a semi-professional musician in the Chicago area for 35 years. I have taught banjo at the Old Town School of Folk Music and currently play in a local band. I also play guitar and mandolin. My dog lies next to me in the evening and will not go upstairs to sleep until I quit playing. I am married with a 22 year old son. We take our dog everywhere and on our daily walks we encounter many of his friends in the neighborhood. We realized recently that we know all the dogs names more than their owners. LOL. Since I cannot live in a situation where I could own 4 dogs, I thought Rover would be the next best thing.
