Qualified, **insured** & experienced animal carer

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Robb. (Only my mum calls me "Robert", but Rover insists!) I have three dogs and two cats of my own, but have cared for many more. For dogs, this has included breeds of all sizes – from Pomeranians and Chihuahuas to Malinois and American Bulldogs. QUALIFICATIONS • Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Canine Behaviour (in progress) • Level 3 Diploma in Kennel and Cattery Management (Distinction). • Level 3 Diploma in Pet First Aid and CPR. • Level 3 Award in Kennel Assistant and Management (Higher Distinction). (I have also completed various other courses from providers such as the Battersea Academy, Canine Principles, the RSPCA, and the Victoria Stillwell Dog Training Academy.) INSURANCE • £1,000,000 personal liability. • £1,000,000 professional indemnity. (Note that the default "Rover Guarantee" does not include insurance, so I have independently arranged cover with Pet Business Insurance / Accelerant Insurance Europe SA.) EXPERIENCE • Cat parent since July 2015, dog parent since February 2021. • Occasional dog walker since the 1980s, regular since 2020. • Volunteer in rescue kennels and cattery since August 2022. (I have also previously provided boarding for both cats and dogs.) OPTIONS If you would like a 45-minute walk or visit, please book for 30 but add a note to say that you'd like 45. I'll then update the cost (typically an extra £4) then send the booking back to you for approval.

We thoroughly recommend Rob. He dropped into check on our elderly Labrador and to give her a short walk during the evening, while we were out. He is clearly very good with dogs and fond of them. From his full report and photos we were reassured that she was very happy with him and well cared for during his time with her. We hope he will sit for us again.

Robert was one of the best dog walkers I’ve ever used. He is super professional, great at handling dogs and clearly loves animals. Him and my dog Reggie are best friends now. Would definitely recommend Robert!

Robb has been an absolute dream taking care of Lana over the past few weeks! Lana is head over heels in love with Robb, and it's evident in every photo – her wagging tail, excited expressions, and pure joy when Robb arrives are all the proof I need. Robb is incredibly diligent, communicative, and keeps me updated with regular Rover cards. I feel reassured knowing Lana is in such good hands. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Safety, trust & environment

For your pet's well-being, and your peace of mind: • I only reward desired behaviour, and do not punish undesired behaviour. • I only walk (or sit) pets from one household at a time. • I will end walks as soon as possible if I consider that: - the outdoor temperature presents a significant danger to your dog - your dog's behaviour is cause for safety concerns. Furthermore, I am insured to walk XL Bullies on the following basis: • The dog is registered with the index of exempted dogs (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is provided. • A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is provided. • The dog handler ratio is 1:1 at all times. • The dog is neutered – in line with government terms. • The dog is micro chipped. • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled at all times.

Information Robert M. would like to know about your pet

• Any specific requirements (e.g. always walk your dog on the left)? • What activities does your pet enjoy (and what do they not)? • Does your pet have any health conditions, or need any medication? • Does your pet have any unusual or challenging behaviour? • Is your pet reactive to dogs, cats, other animals, bicycles, noises, etc? • On walks, can your dog to say hello to other dogs? (Any exceptions?) • On walks, can your dog be off-lead in gated areas? (Any exceptions?)

A typical day

Activities are tailored to your pet, and your neighbourhood – from slow sniffy walks and sunbathing (such as my chow chow enjoys) to games of chase and fetch (which my Staffie-mix loves).
