Robert and Peggy took excellent care of our 4 year old ECS, Adam. Adam was given lots of attention and opportunities for play dates with neighborhood dogs.

From the moment I met them, I knew Bob and Peg would be wonderful dog-sitters and every aspect of our interaction during the first stay confirmed this. Absolutely great people who love dogs and welcome them warmly into their home!

I felt great trusting Bob and Peggi with Gracie. They have a wonderful home and a very dog friendly environment. I would definitely bring her back and have them watch her in the future.

Loving Dog Parents

My wife and I lost our dog Labatt, five years ago - the last in a long line of beautiful golden retrievers we've owned over many years. After his passing and entering the retirement phase of our life, we decided to take a break from owning dogs so we can enjoy extended vacations. But we found we really missed the dog walks and having a "our best buddy" in the house! Enter Rover.... where we can ...

What Robert would like to know about your dog

Require "meet & greet" before committing to dog sitting so everyone can be comfortable with how dog will adjust to us and our home. At same time, we can learn about any special needs, gauge possible "separation anxiety". We reserve the right to decline dogs where we feel unsure as to their potential aggressiveness or other personality traits.

When Robert watches your pet

We walk all of our dogs 3+ times per day (early am, late afternoon and prior to bed time). Our preference is to walk thru our wonderful tree-lined neighborhood for 1/2 hour per walk, or if your dog is up to it, we can stroll (or drive) over to Wilshire park (1 mile away), which has an off-leash area (although we would not let "visitors" off their leash). Good chance to socialize with other dogs though. Our walk schedule is, of course dependent on the age of dog and level of energy & stamina.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Wherever it's used to sleeping at your home. However we don't allow dogs in our bed at night! Sorry, if this is situation at your house. But we're more than open to having your dog sleep next to our bed on blanket, in his/her dog bed, in a crate, or just "chilling out" on the floor somewhere.

Time I'll spend with your dog
Someone is home most of the day since we're both retired. There might be the odd hour or so alone - if we both have to run errands. Your dog will be the center of attention since we have no children & no other pets. We host only one dog at a time. The only exception we'd consider is an owner with two smaller dogs that are "good buddies" & used to being together all the time. Your pup will be one pampered pooch!
