I have loved and had dogs since I was a small boy. I was married to a veterinarian for many years. We always had several pets and often fostered wounded dogs. I am excellent with all animals particularly dogs. Even shy or aggressive dogs respond well to me. They just seem to sense a positive ' vibe' that I have. I am semi retired, in excellent physical condition, reliable, personable and honest. My own pets have lived to remarkable happy, old ages. I have cared for many dogs with chronic conditions (such as diabetes, and renal dysfunction). I have experience administering medications, oral and injectables. Over the years my friends always notice how quickly I develop a warm relationship with their dogs. I have experience taking care of friends dogs at home (when I had a large yard) and made the dogs feel welcome and happy. I have an intuitive sense in 'reading' a dog's behavior that helps me know best how to treat them. I have endless patience with animals and never get frustrated.
