Aloha! My name is Rob. My wife, Jojo, and I are avid animal lovers, and we would be honored to care for the beloved furry members of your family. We have extensive experience living with, caring for, and working with animals, dogs in particular. We both grew up caring for both dogs and cats as pets. We moved here to Hawaii in November, 2013, and we both began volunteering immediately at the Hawaiian Humane Society. As volunteers, our duties and responsibilities are dog feeding and kennel cleaning, dog walking, training, grooming, and massage. We're also experienced with handling, feeding, and caring for cats, and many other types of animals too. In addition to the volunteer work, I have been employed as an Animal Caregiver at the shelter for about a year now. My duties are caring, feeding, and cleaning all types of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, pigs, goats, turtles, ducks, chickens, rats, mice, and many different types of birds too). My wife and I have worked with and cared for many different breeds of dogs, as well as dogs with many different temperaments, energy and activity levels, and with special-needs and senior dogs as well. We love them all, and understand each animal is unique and special, and will give them the highest quality of care. As your houseguests, we will treat you, your pets, and your home with the utmost respect and love, the same way we treat our family and our home. I work full-time at the Humane Society but my schedule varies weekly. My wife is currently volunteering at the shelter, and is not working. Our schedules are flexible enough to accommodate all your needs, whether you need our services for days or nights, weekdays or weekends, and holidays as well. For now, since we are not allowed to have pets where we live, we will be pet-sitting in your home. When our lease ends in a few months, we will be moving to a pet-friendly home. We can then offer you the option of us coming to your home or you bringing your pet to stay with us and our dog(s), as we will definitely be adopting at least one dog from the Humane Society when we can have them as part of our family in our home.
