Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Robb and I am still relatively new to the valley! I have been around cats and dogs my whole life and I have cared for a variety of sizes and breeds. I’m comfortable with bully breeds, giants, high drive, etc., but I will be honest with you if I think I am not a good fit to care for your dog. I am not a trainer myself but I know how to handle bossy and dominant dogs and I know what to expect from most breeds. I am happily partnered and our animals are our children. We have a 5 year old Golden Retriever named Clayton, 3 cats, several fancy mice, and many different species of reptiles and arachnids. If you keep any of these animals and need care for them PLEASE feel free to contact me to discuss it :) I also have some experience caring for birds and chickens. I typically do not charge more for multiple cats (unless the cat requires advanced care) and can negotiate the price on multiple dogs. I have no experience with special needs animals but I can give oral medication. Contact for more info!

Robb watched our two pups while we were away for a few days. They tend to be very timid with new people and it can be frustrating trying to get them to relax/listen to someone other than myself or my fiance. With that said, Robb was very patient with the both of them and really took his time to slowly gain their trust. By the end of the stay, they both were very comfortable. Robb was responsive and responsible. He listened to our concerns and was able to ease our anxieties being away. Overall we are very happy and will definitely use his services again!
Robb C. was AMAZING! Robb lovingly cared for our 2 dogs and 2 cats for two weeks at our house while we were out of town. Robb is a true animal-lover and highly knowledgeable about dogs and cats (and other animals, too!). Our critters loved Robb, and it was great knowing that they were in such good hands while we were away. Robb sent photos every day, and communication was wonderful. We give Robb our highest possible recommendation!
Robb was excellent! We have 2 Dobermans (one is a puppy) and many folks would be intimidated by their size and breed stereotype. Robb didn’t hesitate and did a wonderful job of taking care of them, keeping the puppy in line ?, and keeping us updated. What I appreciate about him most is how much he loves animals and how communicative he is. We will not hesitate to hire Robb again.

I have had issues in the past with boarding other people’s pets so I no longer offer that service. When I stay with a client’s pets I spend nearly all of my time there. Sometimes I will have to go to work but currently I am working from home. I always stay the night at the client’s home unless instructed not to or if it’s a drop-in visit of course. I am more than happy to stay overnight with just cats and can provide daily care regardless if you have 1-2 cats or a multiple cat household.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE CAMERAS IN YOUR HOUSE!! I totally understand being concerned leaving your pet in someone else’s care but I MUST know about it before I enter the home or it is an invasion of my privacy! Please tell the truth about your dog’s behavior. If your dog has any weird “quirks” such as scratching at windows or chewing couches it is really important that I know so I’m prepared to deal with it/stop it from happening. I expect to know right off the bat if your dog has any special needs, medications, dietary issues, etc. and how they behave around other dogs.
A typical day
I love to go to hiking trails with dogs either on or off leash. My own dog is great with other dogs on trails and my partner will sometimes bring him along. I try to avoid fenced in dog parks since I’ve had too many issues with them in the past. We also have a huge yard at my own house, so if my dog and the client’s dog have already met we could let them play in the yard together (currently can’t have other dogs inside the house because of our cats)

Availability
Typically 5-6+ hours of my day are devoted to caring for my own pets. When I’m staying with a rover client my partner assumes 100% of the pet responsibility so I don’t have to run back and forth between my home and the client’s home.
