Pet care experience
Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I grew up with several dogs, and I've had a pet care business for 8 years. I’m currently only taking clients who want somewhat regular service. Please only contact me if you expect to request at least 10 days of boarding per year or at least 4 walks per month. Also, I board up to 5 dogs, so I can't accommodate dogs that need to be kept alone. To save us both time in the booking process, please consider this before messaging me: CRATE TRAINING I board up to 5 dogs, so I need to keep them separate when I’m out. I'll typically only leave up to 1 or 2 dogs uncrated when I'm out. If you are opposed to crating, consider that it's good to have your dog comfortable with a crate because there are potentially times when they will have to be crated, like at the vet. I'm not going to leave a distressed dog in a crate, but I am going to try to crate train all my dogs. That said, I want to use the crates minimally. I'm home a lot, and when I have lots of dogs, I'm home even more. So, the dogs can often all be free together. In short, my clients trust my judgement about how I crate the dogs. I'm happy to talk about this in detail with you. Other Training I often work with my dogs on a number of skills: come, sit, down, stay, waiting at open doors, a game of tug, and loose leash walking. FOR WALKS/DROP-INS: I adjust my prices for walks based on the distance I have to travel and the frequency of walks. Ask for a quote. Walks and home visits before 9AM or between 4PM and 7PM cost an additional $5. From 7PM to 11PM they cost an additional $10. Weekends (5PM Friday to 11PM Sunday), holidays, and holiday weekends cost an additional $5 per visit. FOR BOARDING: *I can not host dogs that whine or bark for more than 10 minutes or so when left alone. *If your dog is not completely house trained or is likely to chew or scratch my things, I can accommodate it only if it can be crated when I'm out. I don't do pee pads. *Boarding and daycare cost an additional $12 per dog on holidays and holiday weekends. *I prorate time above or below 24 hours ($5/hour for 1 dog, $8/hour for 2 dogs). For example, if you drop off one dog at 8am and pickup at 4pm the next day, that will cost an additional $40 ($5 x 8 hours). I look forward to meeting you and your dog!
Reviews
Rob was great and continuously exactly on time! Looking forward to booking again in the future.
Rob was awesome. This was my first time boarding my pup and he was patient with both of us! He kept me in the loop and sent me pictures throughout her stay, which made me feel much better! Will absolutely be going back!
Banjo had a wonderful stay with Rob and Tito! Rob is responsible, knowledgable, and communicative. Banjo will be back soon!
Rob is super patient and gentle with Lenny

I have a house in South Philly. There is plenty of space for indoor fun and a very small backyard. I work from home, so the dogs aren't alone much. I generally leave the dogs free on the first floor. I have several crates I can use, and I can keep a dog separate behind the kitchen gate. I try to avoid letting the dogs come upstairs. They can lie on my couch, ottoman, or dog beds. I never feed dogs human food. I always feed dogs separately. I'm very careful of not letting a dog dart out the door. I train door manners on the front door and crates.

Information Rob S. would like to know about your pet
ANY bite history? Is the dog very energetic and playful around other dogs? Does the dog like to be left alone by other dogs? Any issues with marking in the house? Does the dog bark or whine much? Chewing on things? Scratching at windows or doors?
A typical day
I wake up at 8:30am and feed and walk the dogs. The dogs have a least an hour of indoor free time in the morning. I go walk other dogs from 11am-2pm. The dogs get another walk about 2pm. Dinner is at about 5pm, and then the evening walks are at about 8pm. Sometimes in the afternoon or evening, I'll take the dogs to the dog park. The dogs have at least a couple more hours of indoor free time in the evening.

Availability
I walk 4-8 dogs (not boarded) on weekdays. For the dogs I am boarding, I promise a minimum of 3 walks per day (two 10-minute, and one 25-minute). I often take the dogs to the dog park, although, when I have a full house that becomes difficult but then there are plenty of dogs to play at home.
