Pet care experience
Over the last five years, I have a had (and currently have) roommates with pets, as well as growing up with a dog in my home. I have also been asked to care for friends' pets when they were away on vacations. While I am most familiar with dogs, my current roommate has two elderly cats and I have quickly learned how to care for them over the last year.

Rob was an excellent pet-sitter! Reliable, kept me updated on my pets, let me know about an issue with my puppy chewing on non-toys. Would definitely recommend.
Rob has been a reliable cat sitter for us for several years. He spends quality time with our older, somewhat grumpy kitty, and ensures that her food, snacks, and litter are managed. He gives plenty of pets, skritches, and cuddles to our kitty. He also makes himself available as needed for odd hours for pet care. He loves animals and they love him. I highly recommend Rob!

Currently, I have a roommate with two elderly indoor cats. I work from home, so I am normally tending to them the most. I am responsible for feeding them, cleaning litterboxes/accidents, brushing, and just general pet care and interaction. Previously, I cared for my former roommate's young labradoodle for two years with the roommate living there, as well caring for her alone over six months while my roommate was away. I love spending time with animals and generally have no issue fitting that into my life.

Please let me know if your dog is special needs or has any other difficulties. While I am confident I can cope with most normal issues that may arise, I may need to do more homework to be sure I can provide the best care your animal.
A typical day
Depending on their energy level, I love to engage with the dog(s) I'm sitting. This can be some simple walks and fetch, to chasing around the house or yard, games of tug, belly rubs, etc. Unless otherwise requested, I typically only go on long outdoor walks in the owner's yard or neighborhood.

Availability
I work full-time as a designer in a WFH scenario, so I am able to work from different locations easily if wi-fi is available. My job is either all-hands-on-deck urgent or dead slow and, most of the time, its the latter, so there is plenty of time to check on/care for animals.
