I was raised taking care of animals of all sorts from an early age. We called my family household a zoo, with the diversity of pets we had in our care. I've spent my adult life caring for my dog, Avi, who just recently passed over the rainbow bridge and we had a wonderful life together-- I truly don't know a life apart from pets and other animals.

Getting Fargo to trust others is not an easy feat, but Roan made it such a smooth process! Roan took the time to meet Fargo a few times before their weekend together, and eventually they were going for walks and even snuggling. Roan is so patient, understanding, and I count my lucky stars

Roan was great to find to care for our three dogs. This was a first getaway without the dogs since moving to the area last year. From the meet 'n greet through to the first arrival, Roan was responsive and communicated clearly with us. We will be happy to book Roan's services again in the future. We felt our dogs were well cared for while we were away.

I currently live in a space that is already filled to the brim with animals, so the services I offer are limited to clients' homes. I am currently living in my family's home and the animals belong to my folks, so I have full availability to stay in clients' homes. I love young pups, elderly pups, pups with special needs, etc, and will be happy to accommodate however is necessary! I also have extensive experience caring for cats and small animals.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavioral things I should be aware of, especially pertaining to separation anxiety, or any environmental factors that might trigger anxiety.
A typical day
I'm a huge lover of walks with dogs-- if your dog is able to and enjoys walks in the woods, that was always my go to with my pup. I'm a big fan of puzzle games for dogs and can share some of the games the family dogs and I like to use.

Availability
I am in pre-nursing classes and work part time, so my availability is fairly open, particularly through the holiday season. It is best to schedule with me ahead of time but I may also be able to accommodate short notice booking. For quite a while my focus was on my elderly dog and the care she needed, so I have not booked any care in a while, but I'm very ready to get back in it!
