Pet care experience
We are a couple of empty nesters who mostly work from home and are looking to make some new furry friends. Our daughter is a Rover sitter, she introduced us, and she boards at our house when home from University. We had a beloved Rottweiler and a huge fluffy cat for 20 years. We miss having pets in our lives, but are also enjoying the freedom to travel! When our family and friends travel we have always been the ones to take care of their pets while they are away. Dogs love staying with us because we give them the attention and love they need. We love going for walks and throwing balls! We will work on training and will adhere to strict dietary needs. Woof!

I want to be selfish and not write a review in the hopes of keeping Roan’s schedule free for our dog, Mica. At the same time, every dog deserves to be treated with the care and attention that Roan and her husband gave to Mica. Mica stayed with them for almost 2 weeks and had an even better vacation than I did. She got plenty of activity, a proper amount of spoiling, and I received plenty of pictures and status updates. It really could not have gone any better! I will only be using them unless they are booked.

Information Roan F. would like to know about your pet
We prefer dogs that are mellow in the house. Jesse works at home as a musician so dogs that bark a lot do not make us happy. We make sure they get good exercise and stimulation, but expect that in return they give us the space (and quiet) to do our work at home while staying with us. We do let dogs on the couch during the day where they can watch out the front window and prefer to board dogs who do not bark at everything that moves outside. We don't enjoy dogs sleeping on our bed, so if your dog will not sleep without being on the bed then maybe look elsewhere. Thanks.
A typical day
We enjoy taking dogs on hikes at Mount Tabor park. There is a dog park near our house where we take dogs that enjoy socializing and fetching.
