I have been pet sitting for over 15 years and fostering both dogs and cats for a little over 10! I love animals of all types! I work from home part time, so your pets would be receiving almost constant attention, cuddles and care! I do not have a fenced in yard but I do live near many parks and near the river which has a lot of walking trails. If your pet is more of a inside pet- I have lots of dog and cat toys to keep them stimulated and happy! Or we can just cuddle up on the couch or bed! I have three cats, Lucien, Franklin and Basil, who were raised with foster animals coming in and out so they don't mind new animals in the house. In fact, when I have had orphaned puppies or kittens Lucien has taken on a mother role and will groom them and let them suckle from his chest! That being said, it is extremely important to me that any adult dogs- no matter how small- be cat friendly! I have experience administering oral and topical medications, giving IV fluids, basic grooming (baths, brushing and nail cuts on cats or small dogs), potty training, feeding raw diets, working with animals with special needs or special diets and being patient and sensitive to shy, timid or formerly abused animals. I am a huge animal lover, with excellent references, and I will care and love your pets the same way I love my own! I know it is hard to leave your babies but I promise I will give them the best care possible and will keep you updated on how great they are doing! I look forward to hearing from you! At this time I am only accepting cats, kittens, puppies, and small/medium adult dogs who are good with cats for boarding and day care. I can also board small/caged animals too! For cat boarding- your cat(s) will have a full room away from other pets, as boarding can already be stressful for them with out the added stress of meeting new animals. Alternatively, if you think your cat would enjoy being around other cats, they are more then welcome to be around my cats and have full range of the house!
