I didn't realize how much I love animals, cats, dogs, farm animals, domestic and non, until I got a dog of my own a little over three years ago. My sister and I rescued our beagle lab from the AntiCruelty Society in Chicago when she was about 3 months old, and while the puppy stage is stressful and just as crazy as having a human baby (I also have nannied A LOT), it's just as rewarding, and the love that she provides me everyday is breathtaking. I also have two cats who I love to death and believe love me just the same. I am very invested in the care that my own pets receive no matter what it involves, so I am very empathetic and understanding of the type of care any owner would want for their pets.
