Pet care experience
I have been loving dogs ever since I met my own a few weeks after coming home from the hospital as a lil' baby. Since then, it's been a beautiful love story, letting two special Newfs and one spunky Parti Goldendoodle capture my heart. I moved out of my family's home in Chicago to go to school in NY, which was subsequently amazing (following my dreams) and broke my heart (no more daily pet snuggles). Luckily, my sweet Goldendoodle and I were reunited when I graduated, and now, unsurprisingly, we spend most of our time together. I will stop everything, no matter what I'm doing, to pet your dog. If petting doggies gets me that excited, I can't even imagine how much fun it will be to have the chance to take your sweet pooch out for a walk around the neighborhood!

Rivka was great with our dog Otto! She gave us regular updates and photos and made sure to flag some unusual behavior for us. Our apartment was in great shape when we got back and Otto was happy and well-cared for!

I will always make sure your dog feels comfortable with me in their space. It is very important to me to have an initial meet and greet for drop-in services to make sure that your dog feels safe and even excited for me to be in their territory. *** I am allergic to cats, so please keep this in mind when reaching out to me for drop-ins***

It is very helpful for me to know if your dog is prone to aggression (with humans and/or other dogs) or anxiety. If you have an anxious dog, we can discuss if there is anything that might make the experience of walking or dropping-in less stressful for your pup. If I am aware that your dog tends to growl in the presence of other dogs, I will do my best to ensure that your dog enjoys plenty of personal space during our walks.
A typical day
I love walking on nature trails and letting your dogs sniff all the exciting wildlife smells to their heart's content. I also usually have a toy or tennis ball in my bag for surprise games of fetch.
