With a bachelors of Animal Science from NC State, experience working with the field of veterinary medicine for over 10 years, I am very confident in my skills and knowledge to provide your canine companion with a safe, fun place to stay while you are away. I have experience volunteering with animal rescue groups, pet sitting and dog walking, and medical experience as a veterinary assistant.

This review is a little late, but Rivers was so wonderful! Rory is a little skittish, but she did everything she could to make him feel comfortable. There was a change in plan (due to his anxiousness), but she was so accommodating and flexible.
Rivers was simply amazing! She kept me informed of how well Oliver was doing and sent multiple pictures to show how happy he was. He had hurt his paw a few days before we left town. I felt much better knowing he was in very good hands having her extensive vet med background. I would highly recommend Rivers to take care of your furry family member!
The dogs pick right up on Rivers' sweet and calming demeanor. She's able to bring the dogs in as part of her family and they love her for that. My pup loves the time she gets to spend with Rivers and is always calmer and seems to listen better when she comes home.
Rivers did a great job watching our pup! Our dog and her dog Olive seemingly got along great. I could tell my dog had tons of fun because she was exhausted when we picked her up! Rivers was also great in sending us videos/pictures of our dog during the stay. Highly recommended!
