Hello! My name is Rita! I am 40 years old and I have always had a love for animals. I have over 25 years of experience caring for dogs. Throughout most of my childhood, we always had various pets at any given time, primarily dogs and cats. In addition to our house pets, I grew up in a home where my parents ran a dog kennel for boarding and breeding. From the age of 10 until I left home at 18, I helped with feeding, watering, cleaning kennels and grooming. Over the years, I have taken in stray and wounded dogs and cats and took care of them until finding them a home, in addition to pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors when needed. I am a mother of 3 wonderful children who share my love for animals. We live in a decent sized home in a nice, quiet gated community. Your pet MUST be kid friendly, as my kids love to cuddle and play with dogs of all sizes. Your pet will be loved, adored and treated as part of our family while staying with us and I can guarantee he or she will never lack attention or care!

Rita was amazing. From the beginning working with my last minute travel plans to the multiple updates and photos each day. Rita and her family treated my dog like one of theres and spoiled her. Mabel loved being there and I can say enough good things. We will definitely use her again!!
Rita was so great with our 3 pups! We were so nervous since they hadn’t been away from us in years but Rita made them feel right at home! She sent us updates with lots of pics! Definitely will be coming back for another stay :)

Information Rita J. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know prior to the stay if they are on any medication and if so what the doses and dosage times are as well as if there are any behavioral issues or concerns you are aware of or may have that will help me better care for your pet. For example, are they aggressive towards other dogs, scared of rain, do they howl at night, get in the trash, have a hard pull while on a leash, are they an escape artist or have a habit of chewing on anything? I would also like to know what your pets likes/dislikes are, their bedtime routine, favorite toy or games, etc.
A typical day
My kids and I love to cuddle with pups of all sizes. My kids really enjoy playing games with the pups such as tug of war, monkey in the middle and throwing tennis balls and frisbees in the backyard. Our gated neighborhood is dog friendly and pretty quiet throughout the day and evening, so there will be lots of smells for your pup to discover on walks.

I work from home so your pets will have constant care, attention and potty breaks throughout the day. I also send multiple daily updates with photos so you never have to worry or wonder about how they’re doing while you’re away.
