Happy Tails guaranteed!

Pet care experience

Responsible and reliable dog lover with lots of boarding and training experience. Trust your Fur-Babies with me for walks, play, and/or boarding. I am here to help reinforce their training and/or assist with additional training while in my care. I work from home with a very flexible schedule allowing me to spend quality time with your Fur-Baby while you are away. I have 11 acres with trails, indoor-outdoor kennel/run, newly added 50’x30’ fenced play area and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. Oh and did I mention a very comfy, clean, dog friendly home for them to be loved on in! I work with all breeds and size dogs. I own 1 yellow lab currently. I am here to accommodate the specific needs of each client (human and four legged). Book with me for Wild Wags!

When I contacted Rita about watching my dogs I told her in the message they have never been in a kennel. When I get to her house I reiterate they’ve never been in a kennel. They’re family house / furniture dogs and very chill most of the time. No other Rover sitter has ever had an issue. She assured me she could handle it and that the dogs would be in the house and she’d keep her dog separate but would give mine lots of love. I also told her in text and in person the male husky is really weird around feeding time and he may not even eat. He’s also weird I fed them far apart because he’ll bark and seen mad. They aren’t “TikTok make you famous” huskies. They’re lazy, quiet (99% off the time), and just love bugs- until Max has food. I did my best to over communicate what my fur babies are used to because it’s important with separation anxiety I find the right care taker. She also didn’t not have “must be kennel” trained in her profile. I had zero clue her garage was a kennel farm until i arrived to pick them up. She really keeps dogs in the kennel at night? These are my babies - my family. And, when I showed up to get my babies they were in kennels. Rita actually said she didn’t think she was a good fit for Max because of how he acts at feeding time. You think? I didn’t lie, i didn’t withhold anything, I was very honest and open. FEED him separately away from others. ? I guess Max pooping as soon as he walked in her door, which was sooo out of character for him, should have been a sign to what he thought. He knew. The amount I paid too have the opposite care of what was communicated between us is insane. They have been away from when I travel for work for a week at a time. I’ve never ever had any issues. These two babies were so weird for 3 days after I picked them up. It took me two months to write this because of how devastating the experience was. I won’t/ can’t go back. Max was beyond traumatized and as Rita said, he’s not a fit. She should have been honest with me so I could have found them a better option. But it came down to her taking an extraordinary amount of money and doing the opposite of what she said she would do.

Rita was so amazing with our girls! We have never left our fur babies anywhere other than their own home and were uncomfortable with the idea of a typical boarding facility when we had to go out of town unexpectedly. When we found Rita, we were very impressed with her reviews and her energy. She clearly has a passion for what she does. She is definitely dog people! Lol. We asked to meet and greet before bringing our girls to stay for a few days and she was very accommodating. Her home was very dog friendly and our girls made themselves right at home. Our Golden Retriever is very anxious and our black lab can be quite alpha with other dogs, but Rita knew how to manage their different personalities. She has the perfect space to keep dogs separate if needed to not allow packs to get too crazy, and she took the time to socialize them individually. She sent us pictures when we checked in while away (we aren’t on Facebook, but she mentioned she would post pics there too). Unfortunately we had a flight cancel on the day we were to return and she had no problem keeping the girls another day for us. Our girls definitely had a good time and came home tired and happy. We are so happy to find someone that treated our girls like they would their own. We will definitely be using Rita again in the future. And we are looking forward to hearing the band play! Thanks so much, Rita!

Rita was absolutely wonderful. Max had a great time. She has a large fenced in area for the dogs to roam and run. She stays in contact with you by sharing pictures and messages. I will definitely be using Rita again.

Rita is great! She's so personable and her love of animals is evident for all to see. Her home and property are set up for the ultimate doggy experience! She was very loving with my dog Cassie and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
