Hello! My name is Rita and I’ve always loved animals of all sorts, and all my friends know me as a dog lover. When I was younger, I volunteered at a no-kill shelter and rooted for dogs that have been there the longest to get adopted. My family has an 12 year old Yorkie, who I essentially grew up with. Before grad school, I worked at a popular dog product company, where I gained a wide variety of knowledge about dogs and worked in a dog-friendly office. I’ve also trained a few dogs to do multiple tricks. I have a 3 year old Alaskan Klee Kai named Andi. She is the sweetest girl and loves everyone (and animals!) She is mostly calm but loves to play with other dogs as well I also do freelance art on the side, and I draw customized pet portraits.
