Pet care experience
I have oodles of experience with dogs too: I grew up volunteering with the local animal shelter, walking and socializing dogs to prepare them for adoption. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and all demeanors, and I am more than prepared to handle your pooch. Some people cry when they see babies - I cry when I see canines. Some may call it a misplaced maternal instinct that desperately needs an outlet; I call it an opportunity for you to have an inexpensive dog walker/sitter who truly just wants to hang with out with your pup! Perhaps my most impressive accomplishment, I have taught multiple cats to sit and one feline (my childhood cat, Sylvester) to sit, beg, AND give paw. If I can make cats listen, just imagine the magic I can work on your dog.

Risa was absolutely amazing taking care of Sully, my 2 year old lab-mix buddy. This was my first time using Rover and I was skeptical, specially since Sully is a very special dog which is very reactive to other dogs and very shy and scared to people. Risa knew about the situation and took care of him during the weekend I was out, she kept sending me pictures of him and I was so relieved to see how he felt so comfortable with her. She was very nice and kind to my situation and last minute request. Couldn't be happier with Risa taking care of Sully! Thank you!

Risa was an excellent sitter for my dog. She was prompt, responsive, accommodating, and friendly in all communications. Drop-off and pick-up were both smooth, and my pooch was happy and healthy when I picked him up. I'll likely be booking with Risa again sometime.
