The last seven years I have worked at a few different doggy daycares in New York City! During that time, I was also petsitting at home for multiple pups. Coming from NYC, I became very good at navigating the crowded streets with a "pack". I moved up to Maine almost four years ago and have been caring for animals of all kinds ever since, but dogs definitely hold a special place in my heart. I opened Rebels Homestead recently (find me on fb) and have an array of animals such as pigs, goats, chickens etc…all of which are a ways away from the house and not reachable by the pups I am a stay at home mom to a 1 year old who absolutely LOVES animals; so will always be around to make sure pups are getting all the attention they need! If I have to go out briefly, my husband will be home! Dogs will almost always have someone in the home 24/7. I can only have smaller size dogs at my house at this time In my home, we have a fenced in yard and 3 acres of open land. I do not allow dogs to be off leash outside of the fenced in backyard. My home is located very close to the Bangor City Forrest and I love to go for long walks there if the weather is nice. I try to keep dogs on the schedule they are used to when they stay with us, i.e feeding, potty breaks, etc...
