This is the second time I’ve used Riley for a long vacation trip to watch our dog. Just like the first time, she was great and made Oliver feel comfortable in his own home. She checked our mail, fed Oliver and spent the night. Riley is the best!

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with our dog sitter. She had a friend stay over with her with out our knowledge and then left her friend in our house while she went to work. The friend put our dogs outside to get them out of the way, so she could go back to bed. Our neighbor called us to let us know our dogs were crying outside. We turned our security camera on and could see them crying and scratching at the back door. They had been out side for approximately an hour in the heat. We called our sitter who did not pick up the phone but texted back and asked what was wrong. I texted what was wrong and asked her to have her friend leave our house immediately. We had some workers scheduled to work at our home at 8am which we let our sitter know (she would have left for work by that time). When they arrived, they could not enter the house with the code because the inside door had been locked and the friend was asleep. They pounded on the door and rang the bell multiple times and finally woke up the sleeping friend. They also let our dogs in the house for us. We considered calling another sitter and having this sitter leave. She did tell her friend to leave and owned that she had made a poor decision. I asked her to send pictures of the dogs and give us updates. She said she was sorry several times, but it was a poor decision to have an unknown person in our home who did not care about our dogs and put them outside to get them out of the way. I do believe our sitter was sorry and hopefully learned an important lesson.
