Pet care experience
My interaction with dogs has lasted over 16 years, which includes both small and very large breeds. I had 3 dogs of my own at once for 12 years; (2 Westies & 1 Rottweiler) they were a handful but a great joy! I consider dogs to be friends & family members, so my approach to them is always with great care and respect. I am happy, easy going, patient and eager to meet your dog! No breed is off limits; I feel very confident with all types of dogs and am hopeful to meet some new ones here! I have 1 part time job that requires 5 or 6 hour shifts, however I only work there a few times a week, so there would be occasional times that I would be unavailable to provide 2-4 hour potty breaks. I also have 5 years of experience learning and training animals through positive reinforcement, so I can help you try and teach your dog some impressive tricks or even learn some new habits!

Rihana took incredible care it our two dogs and our house and we have already booked her again! We were out of country so her twice a day updates with photos of the dogs were welcomed. They looked very happy!

Rihana was great! She took amazing care of our shy yet mischievous dog for just over a week- (the longest we've ever been away). She sent photos and written updates daily and left the house looking untouched on our return. I highly recommend Rihana to house sit and/or walk your dog!

I have no breed preferences, but I would love to know what your dog likes to do, what they fear, any health concerns & if they have any routines such as eating or going outside, exercise etc. Please let me know how they are with children, strangers, other dogs and any other concerns that you have as well. Would you also mind telling me what neighborhood you live in for traveling and scheduling purposes? I travel by bus and time can sometimes be a factor.
A typical day
I myself love exploring and seeing new things, so we would get into anything we can find! I like to change up the typical day so maybe that means taking the long way home from a walk, bringing a new toy along, or learning a new trick that involves lots of treats! As a means of precaution, I stay away from dog parks to minimize any risks, however if you request that I bring your dog to a park I would be happy to do so.
