Pet care experience
I have always loved animals and have had a variety of pets for most of my life (dogs, a cat, fish, lizards, a turtle, frogs, snails, mice, gerbils, rats, hamsters, and multiple types of carnivorous plants - if they count). I have 20 years of experience pet sitting a variety of animals including dogs, cats, fish, a rabbit, rats, guinea pigs, parrots, chickens, and pigeons. I really enjoy spending time with animals and being active, so I especially like to take dogs on walks. I have had pets and have watched pets with allergies. As a result, I know how important it is to provide specific diets and care for our animal friends. I would love to help care for your pets and become their friend!

Riese is fantastic. You can tell she is a pro at house sitting. She came over for the initial visit and everything seemed intuitive to her. I even forgot to mention little things like trash day and she had a checklist of things I didn't even think to ask her that allowed her to go above and beyond. I was also very grateful that when I asked if she could stay additional days she had the availability and willingness to sit longer than initially discussed. My dogs don't lie and I can tell if they got attention while I am away. They were relaxed and almost seemed like they didn't miss my much by their content behavior. The chickens were also well watched over. There were a couple of details like one of my pups not eating so much and she caught notice. Sometimes one of my dogs just doesn't have as much of an appetite as the other and she was sharp to catch this and check to see if this should be a concern. I highly recommend Reise if you are looking for a sitter that will be attentive.
Riese took great care of our pup! They were communicative and left Wendy happy and the house clean. Would book again!

Before spending time with your pet I would like to know of any special dietary or other special care needs. I would also like to know what their routine is, so that I can follow it as closely as possible.
A typical day
I try to stick as closely as possible to the routine your pets are used to, including feeding, walking, playing, etc. I believe that walks are not only good opportunities for exercise, but also for exploring new and familiar smells along the way!

Availability
I work nights and I will be gone 9-10 hours at night. So, I am currently only sitting pets that have and are trained to use a dog/cat door, pee pad, and/or litter box. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
