Pet care experience
Former dog owner looking to watch your dog when you’re not able to. Like long walks in the park and a leash to hold! I have owned dogs as small as dachshunds and as large as golden retrievers. Have been a dog sitter for friends and family for years and now would like to help out more with people in the community. I’m very easy going, detailed, and attentive so I’m able to help out with whatever needs your pup may have. From running around, playing fetch, petting, feeding or just hanging out; I’m able to help out so you don’t have any concerns while you’re away from your best friend!

Ricky did a great job with Sophie. This was our first encounter with Ricky although we have had other sitters in the past. We will definitely rebook with Ricky in the future.
I have used Ricky several times now and he is my go to guy! He is personable, prompt and most importantly my dogs like him!
Ricky was available on a very busy holiday weekend, somewhat last minute. He communicated with us and sent pictures every day. The pups seemed very content when we returned. I would definitely re-book.

I want to make sure your dog follows a similar routine as they would if you were there as much as I can while I am at your home. I will make sure your home is in the same shape that it was in when you left it. Although prefer to stop by throughout the day, I am available to stay at your place overnight if needed.

No breed preference! I’m very flexible so just let me know ahead of time what your buddy will need in terms of eating times, how long they can be alone, whether they go on walks or are let outside, sleep, and any other special needs.
A typical day
We’ll go for walks around the neighborhood and if there’s a park nearby we can go there! I can also take them for jogs if they like that. We can play in the backyard and run out some energy. Just chill on the couch and get some relaxing time in. I’m game for any of their usual activities!

I do work during the day Monday-Friday from 8-5 but I am available to be with your pup before work, after work, and during lunchtime.
