Fun, Attentive, and Playful
Pet care experience
Throughout the past 20 years I have cared for, and watched numerous dogs. Growing up I had 2 Labrador Retrievers: Kodiak, and Remmie; 4 Boston terriers, an English Bulldog, and most recently I have been training my father's Shiba Inu. I have plenty of experience with anxious animals, as well as I have spent several 4th of July occasions with scared pups and cats. I am well versed with social anxiety too.

Ricky took excellent care of our disabled, senior dog. He handled Charlie’s early morning wake up calls with grace, administered eye drops as directed, and kept us well informed of any changes or concerns he had about her behavior or skin issues. Ricky took Charlie to morning coffee in her stroller, and spent many afternoons cuddling and napping. He truly cared for Charlie as if she were his own pet. I highly recommend Ricky. He is professional, an excellent communicator, and was very tidy while staying at our home.
Ricky was hands down the best sitter we have used so far. His professionalism and compassion for animals is 10/10. Ricky took extremely great care of our French Bulldog Kingsley while we were away. Most importantly, Ricky cared about our concerns and made sure to be attentive with our instructions. He was also very quick to communicate/respond via Rover and provided us daily updates/photos. I could tell that Kingsley had a fun staycation while we were away and I would definitively have Ricky watch our doggie again. We would highly recommend him to others.

Ricky took fabulous care of our Ridgeback, Brody! We had frequent updates with photos of the fun and snuggles Brody received. Ricky was very quick to respond and was flexible with a few last minute changes. We would 100% rebook with and recommend Ricky.

I am extremely communicative, clean and organized. If your pup requires daily snuggles, I'm right here! If your pup requires time in the crate, I can certainly do so. I also have experience caring for many kinds of animals, including horses, chickens and cats too.

Information ricky c. would like to know about your pet
As long as your pup is well behaved, there shouldn't be any trouble with the breed. I don't have any children in my home. Does your dog have any allergies, or any specific types of treats to avoid? I prefer all natural treats (i.e. cod skins, minnows, and depending on their size and what they can handle, antlers for the bigger pups. They provide endless hours of gnawing, without the worry of splintering!
A typical day
I live by many large parks and trails, as well as the waterfront. The neighborhood I live in is incredibly safe, and wonderful for dog walking as well! I am 6'3", and thus I have long legs that love to stretch on long walks, jogs, or strolls. So no matter your pups energy, I can match it. I love to play fetch, tug of war, wrestle, and swim with dogs. I won't let them off leash unless I am inside a fenced area. Does your dog like to hike? If so, I would love to take them!
